• ENCIK MD AZAR BIN ISMAIL
Encik Azar was appointed to the Board of Directors of BGB on 10 January 1995. He was appointed the Chairman of BGB in 1997. He started his career with Standard Chartered Bank in 1970 and left in 1981. Thereafter he worked in Arab Malaysia Finance Bhd and subsequently he joined Kwong Yik Bank as its Head of Credit at its KL Main Branch. In 1996, Md Azar Ismail joined The Pacific Bank as Manager of its Bumiputra Business Development Department. He left Pacific Bank in 1962 as Senior Manager. After leaving the banking industry, he sits on the Board of several private and public listed companies. Amongst the public listed companies, he was Director/ Chairman of STS Tecnic Bhd from 1994 - 2005, Director of Integrated Logistic Bhd from 1996- 2004, Director of Paos Holdings Bhd from 2000- 2003 and was the Chairman of KBES Bhd from 2003- 2007.
At the same time he also sits on the board of several other private companies which includes, Medical Apparatus Supplies Sdn Bhd, Ikatan Asli Sdn Bhd and R I Kawalan Sdn Bhd. He was also the President of the Equestrian Association of Malaysia from 1998 – 2001 and subsequently became it’s Honorary Member.
• MR. MOO HEAN CHONG
Mr Moo was appointed as an Executive Director in December 2011. He was then appointed the Managing Director of BGB in March 2012. He has worked in multinationals and public listed companies and has experience in the construction and property development sector. He is also involved in the mining of minerals in Malaysia and overseas. He is a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
• MR. ENG KIM LENG
Mr Eng was appointed as Executive Director of BGB in December 2011. He holds an Advance Diploma in Financial Accounting from Kolej Tunku Abdul Rahman. He is a fellow of Chartered Association of Certified Accountants (UK) and Chartered Accountants (Malaysia). His extensive experience in senior management position having served as Chief Operating Officer of Naza TTDI Sdn Bhd, a property development company and prior to that as Group General Manager of Farlim Group Bhd, a public listed company and Managing Director of Cambridge Education for Life Sdn Bhd.
• MR. FOO SAN KAN
Mr Foo was appointed as Director of BGB in March 2012. He is a Chartered Accountant of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants, a member of the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants, a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales and the Chartered Tax Institute of Malaysia. Mr Foo was the Country Managing Partner of Ernst & Young Malaysia from 1997 to 2002 before he retired as a practising accountant. He has 34 years of experience in the accounting profession, of which the last 30 years were spent in various positions in Ernst & Young. During the course of his career, he was involved in various industry sectors including financial services, energy, manufacturing, plantations, property, construction, leisure and entertainment and almost all aspects of the accounting profession.
Mr Foo is also a director of public listed companies namely Allianz Malaysia Berhad, OSK Holdings Berhad, OSK Property Holdings Berhad, OSK Ventures International Berhad and Symphony House Berhad.
• MR. TAY CHOON YONG
Mr Tay was appointed as Director of BGB in July 2012. He holds a B. Sc (Civil Engineering) and he is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers Malaysia (FIEM) and a member of the Professional Engineer (M) (P. Eng). Upon graduating in the United Kingdom in 1969, Mr Tay has worked overseas namely in the United Kingdom, Philippines, Indonesia and the Bahamas. In 1984, he returned to Malaysia and has held various senior positions in several public listed companies. He has wide experience in the engineering, construction and property development sector.
