In 2004, BGB acquired 75.5% equity in TC Electronics Group, which is a renowned regional manufacturer of automotive and home loudspeaker specialist.
TC Electronics Sdn Bhd commenced business in 1988, has its principal factory in Port Klang, Selangor. TC Electronics Group is one of the key OEM car speaker supplier to the national car manufacturer Proton and Perodua of Malaysia. The Group also supplies products to renowned international speaker manufacturers such as the JVC group and Alpine Group.
The company has been very successful in its pursuits and is recognized with various local and international accolades like the certification of ISO 9001:2000, SMI-DHL Export Excellence Award 2004, Golden Bull Award for 2003 & 2004 and the Enterprise 50 Award in 2004.
